"RetroStyle Games" develops games for PC and Apple's iPhone/iPod platform.
During the years of work we improved our skills and finally came out with the workflow that just works.
From a prototype to a released game. From the concept to the finished art.

Art outsourcing:

- Game Interfaces (GUI, HUD, windows, buttons)
The game's interface is usually its heart. It should match the style and atmosphere of other elements. We are playing the client's game, trying to understand the game mechanics and then to combine all ideas into working, good-looking and understandable GUI.

- Game Icons (chips, tiles, cards, objects)
Game icons, chips, playing field objects and tiles are more then needed for desktop-type, Match-3 and Hidden-Object games. Usually we use both 3D and 2D graphics to achieve crisp graphics, creative and fancy-looking results.

- Game Characters and Props (concepts, illustrations, sprites)
In video games a player tries to identify himself with some kind of a character. Depending on a game style we can create both hardcore and casual types of memorable characters.

- Game Backgrounds and Illustrations (concepts, 3D, matte painting, illustrations )
We cannot imagine a game without at least one simple background or a title illustration. Usually the game requires much more. We can produce both 3D based and 2D stylized variants of backgrounds, maps and illustrations that properly match the game atmosphere.

- Low-Poly Modeling and Texturing (modeling, texturing, optimizationoptimization)
Nowadays the line between the modeling for games and cinema is gradually erased. Though for a lot of platforms (e.g. mobile devices) it is still important to pay attention to the small amount of polygons. Now it's easier to produce high-poly variant of model, texture it and then bake all details into low-poly model. Some games require stylized low-poly models with hand-drawn textures though.

- 2D/3D Game Sprites (2D, 3D, modeling, animation)
Game sprites stand out from the other game assets and at the first sight may look out-dated. But with growing interest to iPhone/iPod, other mobile platforms, casual and children's games - a lot of clients ask for it. Usually a full range of work is needed to create game sprites. Concept, modeling, texturing, rigging, skinning, animating and rendering are just a few to mention.

- 3D/CG Animation and Reels Creation (3D, CG, animation, reels)
"RetroStyle Games" has a big experience in creation of 3D animated shorts from scratch. Starting with a story-board developing to a thought-out direction and ending on the editing table. Our skills are also irreplaceable when it comes to the character animation or product's video presentation.

- Comics and Storyboards creation (comics, dialogs, illustrations)
Hand drawn comics or animated by the game engine story-boards are necessary when you want to tell a story or fill a gap between levels. They can include game characters, environment, properties and much more.
