Review Bytten's Review - 70/100
"Mars Miner is at heart a loving remake of a well known classic and once you get into it you may find it hard to stop."

Review Blogcritic's Review - 4/5
"Challenging, beautiful to look at, and a fun way to spend any spare time you might have while remembering the joy of being able to fire up a game and just play without the need for any 600-page guide from Prima, Mars Miner has bombed its way onto my laptop, permanently."

Review Game Tunnel's Review - 6/10
"It's like when Starship Troopers, Damnation Alley and Bomberman get puréed in a blender. The added survival mode is a feature I personally found to be more interesting (and challenging) than the stage mode. Still, it's not too bad a game...and its solid design and snazzy visuals keep this title a little above average."

Review Uziana's Review - 6/10
"Mars Miner is a solid puzzle game capitalizing on the Bomberman-games but with its own twists. It lacks graphics and multiplayer options to become a truly great game. However Mars Miner will not disappoint puzzle game enthusiasts who have already played them all."

Review Joystiq's Review
"It's Bomberman with updated graphics and a darker theme. Unlike Bomberman: Act Zero, this game is actually good. Mars Miner takes the bomb-blasting fun from the series and updates it with a little sci-fi twist. Several modes of play add life to the game, but in the end, blowing stuff up is all the fun we need."

Review GameProducer's Review
"Mars Miner is bit difficult to categorize, as it has arcade, action and almost puzzle like elements. Whatever genre it fits, I especially liked the idea of bombing stuff like in Bomberman game. It’s simply fun. Besides doing good job implementing the bombing, the graphics are very well done."

Review GameTram's Interview
"We’ll see what we will see. In one’s time the final release of Mars Miner seemed impossible for us. But it turned out – nothing is impossible to a willing heart! If there is a will, there is a way."
